After all that pumpkin carving, you’re inevitably left with two things: adorable jack o’ lanterns, and tons of slippery seeds. When we wondered what to do with them, party planner Hilary Pereira reminded us that roasting and toasting pumpkin seeds creates a healthy (and delicious!) fall snack. “They have a nice flavor on their own, but you can really amplify these little treats with a few simple dashes of added flavor,” she explained. You can be as creative as you like, of course, but Hilary gave us a few tips about how to make this seasonal delight the star of your next cocktail tray.
